Fans of the beloved ’90s sitcom The Wayans Bros. have a reason to celebrate: Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is releasing The Wayans Bros.: The Complete Series on DVD for the first time ever. All 101 episodes from the show’s five-season run will be available in a comprehensive set starting February 4, 2025. Pre-orders are now open here for this long-awaited collection.
Premiering in 1995, The Wayans Bros. became a cultural phenomenon with its unique blend of slapstick humor, sharp wit, and heartfelt moments. Real-life brothers Shawn Wayans (In Living Color, Scary Movie, White Chicks) and Marlon Wayans (Scary Movie, The Ladykillers, White Chicks) star in the sitcom. It follows the comedic escapades of two brothers navigating life, love, and family in New York City.
The chemistry between the Wayans brothers, paired with the unforgettable supporting performance by John Witherspoon (Friday, The Boondocks) as their father, Pops, solidified the show’s place in TV history.
The series was the brainchild of Marlon and Shawn Wayans, along with creators Leslie Ray and David Steven Simon. Produced under BabyWay Productions, Next to Last Productions, and Warner Bros. Television, the sitcom went through a creative evolution during its run. It had different executive producers. Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore worked on its first season. Rick Hawkins was the executive producer in its second season. Phil Kellard & Tom Moore took over from the third season onward.
