Tiffany Haddish Takes Africa in New Peacock Docuseries

Tiffany Haddish embarks on a journey of friendship and healing on Peacock.

Peacock is taking viewers on a wild and emotional ride this fall with Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, a brand-new six-episode docuseries premiering Thursday, November 13. The Emmy Award–winning comedian and actress, best known for Girls Trip and Haunted Mansion, embarks on an unforgettable journey across Africa with her three closest childhood friends, promising equal parts laughter, adventure, and heartfelt moments.

Inspired by Girls Trip

Loosely inspired by the spirit of Girls Trip, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off follows Haddish, Selena Martin, Shermona Long, and Sparkle Clark as they set out on a four-week girls’ trip that’s about far more than sightseeing. The series documents their shared adventures, challenges, and emotional breakthroughs as they deepen their lifelong friendship while exploring their personal and cultural connections to Africa.

From the moment they take off, the group embraces every opportunity to step out of their comfort zones. Each destination offers a new experience and a new layer of self-discovery, leading to moments that are as hilarious as they are honest. What makes the show stand out is its ability to mix Tiffany’s unfiltered humor with genuine vulnerability — showing fans a version of her they’ve never seen before.

A Journey Across Africa

Throughout the six episodes, Haddish and her friends travel through several incredible locations: Cape Town, South Africa; Victoria Falls and Harare, Zimbabwe; and Zanzibar, Tanzania. Each stop offers unique experiences, from breathtaking landscapes to unforgettable local encounters. While the group dives into adventure, the emotional throughline remains clear — this trip is about reflection, reconnection, and the power of friendship.

The series also reveals a more personal side of Haddish. Behind the jokes and high energy, viewers will see her embrace healing, gratitude, and growth in real time. In my previous interview with Tiffany Haddish, she shared how authenticity guides her life and career. Tiffany Haddish Goes Off seems to continue that journey in a deeply personal way.

Tiffany Haddish Goes Off looks to be a refreshing blend of humor, heart, and self-exploration — the kind of unscripted storytelling that feels as real as it gets. Haddish invites viewers to laugh, cry, and celebrate the unbreakable bonds of friendship right alongside her.

So pack your emotional bags and get ready to stream when Tiffany Haddish Goes Off premieres on November 13 with all six episodes on Peacock.
