Netflix Drops First Trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Death Watch

Legendary spy Sam Fisher returns in the first animated adaptation of Ubisoft’s iconic stealth franchise, Splinter Cell.

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Death Watch. It is the highly anticipated animated series based on Ubisoft’s acclaimed video game franchise. The eight-episode first season debuts worldwide on October 14, 2025.

A New Chapter in Stealth Espionage

From Derek Kolstad, creator of the John Wick franchise, Death Watch marks the first on-screen adaptation of legendary operative Sam Fisher. Liev Schreiber voices Fisher, who returns to the field when wounded young agent Zinnia Mckenna (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) seeks his help.

The series promises a mix of high-stakes espionage, explosive action, and the quiet intensity that made Splinter Cell one of Ubisoft’s most celebrated franchises.

Behind the Scenes Talent

The series is directed by Guillaume Dousse, with Félicien Colmet-Daage serving as co-director. Kolstad not only serves as the writer but also joins Helene Juguet, Hugo Revon, and Gerard Guillemot as executive producers for Ubisoft Film & Television.

Animation is handled by Sun Creature and Fost, giving the series a sleek, stylized look that matches the franchise’s shadow-laden tension. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will feature eight episodes, each approximately 30 minutes in length. The series premieres globally on Netflix on October 14, 2025.
