Lara Croft Returns in Netflix’s Tomb Raider series.
The highly anticipated animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will premiere on Netflix on October 10. The series picks up immediately after the Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy video games, which include Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015), and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018).
In this continuation, Lara Croft, voiced by Hayley Atwell, chooses to leave her friends behind as she embarks on increasingly dangerous solo adventures. Joining Atwell in the voice cast are Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon, who reprises his role as Jonah Maiava from the video game series. Watch the trailer below!
The plot takes a thrilling turn when a mysterious and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief who shares a deep personal connection with Lara. This event forces Lara to return home and face a new challenge that takes her around the globe. Throughout the series, she will explore ancient tombs, push her physical and emotional limits, and confront her true identity, ultimately shaping the kind of hero she wants to become.
