Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Trailer Reveals Feathers McGraw’s Return

The first trailer for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl drops.

The trailer for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl has been released, marking the iconic return of the villainous Feathers McGraw. Fans of Aardman’s beloved stop-motion franchise will remember Feathers from 1993’s The Wrong Trousers. That is when the cunning penguin orchestrated a jewel heist. Following a brief cameo in last year’s Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, Feathers is back, and this time, he’s out for revenge. Watch below!

The film is the first full-length adventure in 19 years.

It is set to debut on Netflix on January 3, 2025. Directed by Aardman’s four-time Academy Award-winning Nick Park, alongside Emmy-nominated Merlin Crossingham, the film promises to bring another epic family adventure. Vengeance Most Fowl will follow the dynamic duo as they face off against a new threat. Wallace’s reliance on his inventions is tested when a “smart” gnome he creates begins to develop a mind of its own. It soon becomes clear that a familiar figure from their past may be behind this chaos. Once again, it is up to Gromit to save the day and protect his inventor friend from sinister forces.

With the passing of Peter Sallis, who originally voiced Wallace, Ben Whitehead takes over the role. A staple at Aardman, Whitehead aims to continue Sallis’s legacy, bringing warmth and humor to the absent-minded inventor. True to form, Gromit remains silent, with his expressive nature conveyed purely through animation. The peerless team at Aardman ensures that every nuance shines through, capturing Gromit’s personality without uttering a word.

The cast of Vengeance Most Fowl includes Peter Kay, who reprises his role as PC Mackintosh from 2006’s The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, along with new additions Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry.

The upcoming release marks a return to the magic that has made Wallace & Gromit a staple of British animation. With its signature humor, charming characters, and meticulous stop-motion, Vengeance Most Fowl is poised to be a delightful start to the new year for fans of all ages.
