AFI Fest will showcase Wallace & Gromit’s latest epic adventure on October 27th.
Aardman’s beloved duo, Wallace and Gromit, are returning to the big screen with their latest adventure, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. The highly anticipated family-friendly film is set to have its world premiere at AFI Fest next month, and fans couldn’t be more excited.
The film will screen on October 27, the festival’s Closing Day. It is part of the Red Carpet Premieres section at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre. This special screening promises to be a fitting conclusion to the prestigious AFI Fest. As one of the festival’s headlining films, Vengeance Most Fowl is expected to draw significant attention and a large attendance.
In Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Gromit increasingly worries that Wallace is becoming far too dependent on his inventions. The concern proves valid when Wallace creates a “smart” gnome that begins developing a mind of its own. As mysterious events unfold, it becomes apparent that a figure from Wallace’s past may be manipulating things behind the scenes. It’s up to Gromit to stop these sinister forces and save Wallace from losing his inventive touch forever.
Nick Park, the four-time Academy Award-winning director, returns to the franchise.
Emmy Award-nominated director Merlin Crossingham joins him. Together, the duo has crafted a brand-new epic adventure that retains the charm and creativity fans have come to love from Aardman Animations.
