Harry Potter HBO original series adds seven new cast members.

Warwick Davis is officially heading back to Hogwarts. The beloved actor will reprise his role as Professor Filius Flitwick in HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter television series, marking a celebrated return to the wizarding world after originating the character in the blockbuster film franchise.

The announcement came on September 1, a date that holds significant meaning for fans worldwide. Known as “Back to Hogwarts Day,” September 1 is the annual global celebration of the wizarding world. New Faces Join the Cast
Alongside Davis, the series has expanded its cast with seven new additions spanning Hogwarts, Gringotts, and beyond.

The newly announced roles include:
- Hogwarts Students: Elijah Oshin as Dean Thomas, Finn Stephens as Vincent Crabbe, and William Nash as Gregory Goyle.
- Hogwarts Staff: Sirine Saba as Professor Pomona Sprout, Richard Durden as Professor Cuthbert Binns, and Bríd Brennan as Madam Poppy Pomfrey.
- Gringotts: Leigh Gill as Griphook.
A Global Release
The Harry Potter series will debut in 2027 on HBO and stream on Max in the U.S. and other territories. Warner Bros. Discovery has also confirmed that the series will be available in newly launched international markets, including Germany, Italy, and the U.K.
