Netflix Announces New Competition Series Turning Retail Into a Shopping Frenzy

New series “Win the Mall” puts shopaholics to the ultimate test.

If you’ve ever joked that shopping should be an Olympic sport, a new Netflix series might just prove you right. Win the Mall (working title) is an upcoming competition show that transforms a classic American shopping mall into the ultimate battleground for retail supremacy.

The Ultimate Shopping Showdown

Across eight episodes, 10 teams of expert shoppers will compete in a fast-paced contest that combines strategy, style, and savvy spending. Each team must outwit and outshop the others to gain control of storefronts, boost their budgets, and dominate the mall floor. It’s a high-stakes, high-energy retail rumble that turns bargain hunting into a sport of strategy and endurance.

A Dream Come True for Shopaholics

“This show is for anyone who ever dreamed of what it would be like to call a shopping mall your home,” says Jimmy Fox, executive producer and EVP, Head of Unscripted Development and Sales at Fremantle, which produces the series. “The deal seekers, the fashionistas, the savvy shoppers who can spot a knock-off from a mile away. You go to a mall for two reasons: to shop and to socialize. You’ll have to excel at both to Win the Mall.”

A Retail Fantasy Come to Life

Part game show and part reality competition, Win the Mall taps into the nostalgia and chaos of mall culture — blending teamwork, competition, and pure shopping adrenaline. With twists around every corner and real rewards on the line, this show promises to turn retail therapy into a spectator sport.

Stay tuned for more details on when Win the Mall opens its doors to audiences.
