Selena Gomez returns as executive producer and guest star in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
Season 2 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is set to premiere with two brand-new episodes Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and Disney Channel On Demand. The complete season will arrive Oct. 8 on Disney+ in the U.S. and select international markets.
The continuation of the Emmy Award-winning Wizards of Waverly Place brings back fan-favorite characters, introduces new magical challenges, and features exciting guest stars. Selena Gomez, who reprises her iconic role as Alex Russo, returns as executive producer and appears in a special guest-starring role this season.
Magical Guests and Familiar Faces
Season 2 introduces a host of new characters played by notable guest stars, including:

A Complicated Family Reunion
The second season’s storyline deepens the challenges for the Russo family. Billie, played by Janice LeAnn Brown, discovers that being a part of the Russo clan is far more complicated than expected—especially now that she’s not the only wizard under the roof.
With both Roman and Milo revealing magical powers of their own, Justin Russo (David Henrie) finds himself in charge of training three young wizards for the upcoming Family Wizard Competition. But as tensions grow and family dynamics shift, a dark and mysterious new threat begins to surface—one with the power to unravel everything the Russos have fought to protect.
