Alan Ritchson Returns In Maria Sten’s Reacher Spinoff Neagley

Prime Video is expanding the world of Reacher with Neagley, a new action series starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, one of the franchise’s biggest fan-favorite characters.

The series will premiere on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. All eight episodes will be released at once in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

For longtime Reacher fans, this series is a direct connection to the main series. Alan Ritchson will guest star as Jack Reacher. He will be bringing the title character into the spinoff as Neagley steps into the spotlight for her own mystery.

Neagley Expands The Reacher Universe With Maria Sten Leading The Story

Neagley follows Frances Neagley. She is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.

When Neagley learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes determined to get justice. Using everything she learned from Reacher and her time with the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.

Sten has become a key part of the Reacher series since its debut, with Neagley standing out as one of the few people who can match Reacher’s intelligence, discipline, and no-nonsense approach. The spinoff gives the character a full story of her own while keeping her tied to the larger world of Lee Child’s novels.

Sten’s previous work includes Swamp Thing, where she played Liz Tremayne, and Channel Zero: The Dream Door, where she starred as Jillian Hope Hodgson. She also appeared in the Danish thriller Straight Forward.

Alan Ritchson Will Guest Star As Jack Reacher

While Neagley is built around Maria Sten’s character, Alan Ritchson’s return as Jack Reacher gives the spinoff a major franchise connection.

Ritchson has led Reacher since the Prime Video series premiered in 2022. His version of the character, based on Lee Child’s best-selling novels, quickly became one of Prime Video’s signature action heroes.

His guest appearance in Neagley connects the spin-off to the main show while allowing Frances Neagley to take center stage. It also makes the spinoff feel like a true extension of the Reacher universe instead of a separate side story.

Reacher Season 4 Leads Directly Into Neagley

Prime Video is setting up a major Reacher rollout in 2026.

Reacher Season 4 will premiere on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with its first three episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly through September 16, 2026.

That same day, after the Season 4 finale, Prime Video will release all eight episodes of Neagley.

The direct handoff from Reacher to Neagley gives fans a full franchise event centered on Jack Reacher’s world and one of his most trusted allies.

The Previous Reacher Seasons Built Prime Video’s Action Franchise

Reacher Season 1 introduced Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher. He is a former military police investigator who arrives in Margrave, Georgia, and gets pulled into a deadly conspiracy. The season was based on Lee Child’s first Jack Reacher novel, Killing Floor.

Season 2 reunited Reacher with members of the 110th Special Investigations Unit, including Frances Neagley. Based on Bad Luck and Trouble, the season gave fans a deeper look at Reacher’s military past and the team he once trusted with his life.

Season 3 adapted Persuader, placing Reacher in another dangerous mission connected to old enemies and unfinished business. Across the first three seasons, Neagley became one of the show’s most important supporting characters, making her spinoff a natural next step for the franchise.

Season 4 will continue the main series before handing the spotlight to Neagley.
