“Anaconda” is available now on Digital, with a physical release set for March 17. The film arrives on 4K UHD Steelbook, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD that day. The movie flips the classic creature-feature setup into a meta comedy. However, it still keeps one foot planted in survival chaos. Jack Black and Paul Rudd lead the cast as two lifelong friends who turn nostalgia into a very bad idea.

A Midlife-Crisis Movie Dream Turns Into a Jungle Nightmare

Doug (Black) and Griff (Rudd) have been best friends since childhood. They also share one big obsession: remaking their favorite “classic,” “Anaconda.” When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally commit, they head into the Amazon to start filming. The plan is messy, loud, and wildly underprepared. Then an actual giant anaconda shows up. That’s when the joke turns into a real fight to survive. The movie they are desperate to make may be the thing that kills them.
