The Dark Knight meets the Silent Knight in a new Batman Holiday series.

DC Comics is making this holiday season extra merry with a thrilling announcement sure to excite fans of both Gotham’s Dark Knight and the jolly old man in red! Today, DC revealed a brand-new comic book series titled Batman – Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns, a follow-up to the beloved Silent Knight storyline. The incredible creative duo of writer Jeff Parker and artist Lukas Ketner will bring this exciting sequel to life. Fans can expect the first of the five-issue series to drop on Wednesdays, starting in the weeks leading up to Christmas, delivering an epic festive treat.

Batman – Santa Claus: Silent Knight Returns promises to be anything but your typical holiday story. This time, Batman and Santa Claus face a chilling mystery as life-drained bodies appear across the countryside, each bearing an eerie symbol. The Justice League quickly responds, but what seems like a rescue mission turns out to be a sinister trap! With the team pulled into a different dimension, it’s up to Batman to ensure Robin’s escape before it’s too late. Now, Damian Wayne finds himself on a desperate quest to find Zatanna and, believe it or not, Santa Claus in a bid to save their captured friends and family.

This isn’t just any festive tale—it’s a crossover-event sequel.
It brings some of DC’s most iconic and wild characters into a snowstorm of suspense and action. Batman and Santa Claus will face off against the Silent Knight, a foe as powerful as he is enigmatic, threatening to turn the holiday season into a nightmare. The first issue will feature a main cover by Bernard Chang, with variant covers from fan-favorite artists Dan Mora, Kevin Wada, and Erica Henderson. Collectors should also be on the lookout for a special gift-wrapped, evergreen-scented variant cover by Dan Hipp, adding a unique and festive touch to this already exciting release.

So, dust off your stockings and get ready for a holiday adventure like no other – because the Silent Knight is about to make a very loud return!
