Waltzing with Brando is an upcoming American biographical drama. It will offer audiences a glimpse into Marlon Brando’s ambitious pursuit. He aimed to create the world’s first self-sustaining island retreat. The film is directed by Bill Fishman and stars Billy Zane as Brando. The story centers on Brando’s partnership with Los Angeles architect Bernard Judge. Brando recruited Judge to build an ecologically perfect hideaway on a remote island in Tahiti.
The film is set primarily between 1969 and 1974. This was a pivotal time for Brando. He was preparing to take on two iconic roles in The Godfather and Last Tango in Paris.
