Christopher A’mmanuel, best known for his role in Black Lightning, is stepping into the spotlight in the upcoming film 1992. Directed by Ariel Vromen (The Iceman), the action-crime thriller stars Tyrese Gibson and features the late Ray Liotta in one of his final performances. A’mmanuel portrays Antoine King, a high school student caught in the turbulence of a Los Angeles neighborhood set ablaze by protests following the Rodney King trial verdict.
For A’mmanuel, 1992 offers a career-defining opportunity to be a part of a powerful story and work alongside legends like Tyrese Gibson and Ray Liotta.
