Bluey will premiere the longest episode to date.
Disney Branded Television, BBC Studios Kids & Family, and Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) have finally announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated special episode of the popular children’s series “Bluey.” Titled “The Sign,” this 28-minute special will be released worldwide on Sunday, April 14, marking the show’s first-ever global rollout. Before this exciting event, a new episode titled “Ghostbasket” will premiere on April 7. Both “Ghostbasket” and “The Sign” have been created by the writer and series creator Joe Brumm. “The Sign” is the longest episode to date.
It is considered a milestone for the show. On the other hand, “Ghostbasket” has a standard episode duration. “Bluey” has captivated audiences since it premiered in Australia in 2018. It gained a dedicated global following for its authentic portrayal of family life and the joy of imaginative play. The show focuses on Bluey, a lively Blue Heeler dog, her parents, and her little sister Bingo, and has been well-received by viewers of all ages.
As 2023 drew to a close, according to Nielsen ratings, “Bluey” clinched the title of the No. 1 series for preschoolers and children. The momentum continued into 2024, with ten new episodes premiering on Disney+ in January and scheduled for release on Disney Channel and Disney Junior from March 25 to April 5. “Bluey” has captured the hearts of millions with its touching stories and relatable family relationships. Bluey and her family have created a delightful world that fans love to immerse themselves in.
