Marvel Studios has debuted the teaser trailer and poster for its next highly anticipated installment, “Captain America: Brave New World,” slated for release on February 14, 2025. The film promises to deliver another action-packed adventure with a star-studded cast and a talented creative team behind the scenes.
In this thrilling new chapter, after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. Watch the trailer below!
“Captain America: Brave New World” is directed by Julius Onah, known for his work on “Luce” and “The Cloverfield Paradox.” Onah brings a fresh perspective to the franchise, continuing the legacy of Captain America with a modern and dynamic vision. Dalan Musson, Matthew Orton, and Malcolm Spellman wrote the screenplay for Captain America: Brave New World. Musson and Spellman previously collaborated on the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while Orton is recognized for his work on Operation Finale. Watch the trailer below!
Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson.
He takes up the mantle of Captain America. Mackie’s portrayal has been widely acclaimed, and fans are eager to see his character’s development in this new chapter. Joining Mackie is Liv Tyler. She returns to the MCU as Betty Ross, a role she first played in “The Incredible Hulk.” The cast also includes legendary actor Harrison Ford. He steps into the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, previously portrayed by the late William Hurt. Ford’s addition to the cast brings a new level of gravitas to the film. Rising star Shira Haas, known for her “Unorthodox” performance, will debut in MCU. Other notable cast members include Tim Blake Nelson. He reprises his role as Samuel Sterns, aka The Leader. Also, Giancarlo Esposito has been added, and his casting has fans speculating about his character’s potential impact. Rosa Salazar and Danny Ramirez round out the cast.
