Inside the journey of actor Dakota Daubly.

Canadian actor Dakota Daulby has steadily carved out a niche for himself in the entertainment industry. He balances roles across genres with an unassuming charm that resonates with audiences. Known for his work in Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans M.C., Billy the Kid, and The 100, Daulby’s career reflects a versatility and depth that make him a standout talent. Watch my interview with him below, in which he reflects on his Hollywood journey.
Daulby’s role in the hit FX series Mayans M.C., a Sons of Anarchy spin-off series, marked a significant step in his career.
Playing the character of Matt Jenkins, Daulby found himself in a gritty world of bikers and outlaws, a stark contrast to his previous roles. This experience allowed him to delve into a darker, more complex character, showcasing his ability to tackle intense, emotionally charged material. Following his success as Joker in Mayans M.C., Daulby joined the cast of Billy the Kid, starring Tom Blyth. The series chronicles the life of the infamous American outlaw. In this role, Daulby again embraced a historical setting, bringing a blend of authenticity and intensity to his performance that added depth to the show’s portrayal of the Wild West.
In addition to his work on Billy the Kid, Daulby made a memorable appearance on The CW’s The 100, where he further demonstrated his range by stepping into a post-apocalyptic world. His role in Falling Skies added yet another layer to his growing body of work as he navigated the challenges of a science fiction narrative with the same ease and commitment. More recently, Daulby starred in the horror thriller Longlegs, a film that continues to gain traction for its eerie atmosphere and chilling storyline. Read my review.
In the upcoming horror short Adjoining, Daulby stars alongside Breena D’Amico.
Harrison Houde and Daulby direct the film, and it promises a suspenseful tale of a couple whose motel stay takes a terrifying turn. Daulby and Houde wrote the script, and the producer is Peter Roumeliotis from the newly launched Popternative Pictures. D’Amico, known for her role in Disney’s Descendants, takes on a darker role in this short, with Daulby guiding the narrative both in front of and behind the camera. As his career evolves, Dakota Daulby remains a dynamic force in the entertainment world, consistently delivering performances that leave a lasting impact.
