AmonKlok Conquest tour unites Dethklok and Amon Amarth in 2026.
Amon Amarth and Dethklok will team up for a sprawling North American co-headlining tour next spring. The AmonKlok Conquest Tour begins April 15, 2026, marking the first time the two powerhouse acts have shared a bill. The run also celebrates a major milestone for Dethklok, which hits its 20th anniversary next year, and arrives as Amon Amarth prepares to release its next album. The Swedish group recently wrapped a high-profile year that included supporting Slayer in the U.K. and joining Pantera across the United States. Amon Amarth will debut a new theatrical stage production for this tour, expanding their reputation as one of metal’s most commanding live acts.
In a statement attributed to Amon Amarth, the band described the upcoming shows as a forceful experience: “Three bands. One night. The strong will scream. The weak will fall. Limbs will be lost. We will crush skulls beneath our boots and tear the halls down stone by stone. This is not a concert. It is a reckoning.”
Dethklok Marks Its 20th Anniversary
The tour arrives as Dethklok celebrates 20 years since the premiere of Metalocalypse on Adult Swim. The lineup features creator Brendon Small on guitar and vocals, Gene Hoglan on drums, Pete Griffin on bass, and Nili Brosh on guitar.
Small said, “We are celebrating our 20th anniversary. And what better way to do it than touring with Amon Amarth and Castle Rat, who embody theatrical heavy metal.” He added that the shows will deliver a complete sensory experience, combining musicianship, visual storytelling, and the humor fans expect.
Castle Rat Joins the Conquest
Castle Rat, recognized for their fantastical concepts and theatrics, will support the tour. The Rat Queen teased a full narrative experience linked to the band’s ongoing saga.

The North American dates are produced by Live Nation. Citi cardmembers will have first access beginning Tuesday, December 9, at 11 a.m. ET. Artist presales for Amon Amarth and Dethklok begin at noon the same day. General onsale starts Friday, December 12, at 10 a.m. local time at amonklok.com.
