Star-Studded Carpet Welcomes Fans and Celebrities
Local celebrities and influencers joined the celebration as the cast posed for photos, reunited on the carpet, and shared excitement about the long-awaited sequel to the 2003 Disney hit.

In Freakier Friday, Curtis and Lohan return as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story revisits the duo years after their unforgettable body-swap experience. Now a mother herself, Anna navigates the complexities of blended family life, including parenting her daughter and her future stepdaughter. But when a familiar magical twist re-enters their lives, the Colemans are once again in for a wild ride—proving that lightning can indeed strike twice.

Directed by Nisha Ganatra (Late Night), the film is inspired by Mary Rodgers’ original novel and builds upon the legacy of the fan-favorite franchise with new generational dynamics and heartfelt laughs.

The star-studded ensemble also includes Julia Butters (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Sophia Hammons (Under Wraps), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever), Rosalind Chao, Vanessa Bayer, and returning cast members Chad Michael Murray and Mark Harmon.
