Godzilla and the “MonsterVerse” Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Godzilla is a film that revived a franchise and created a universe.

Today, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2014 Godzilla film. This reboot of Toho’s legendary Godzilla franchise, directed by Gareth Edwards, reignited interest in the iconic monster and launched the incredibly successful MonsterVerse franchise. It was a milestone, marking the 30th film in the series. It grossed over $529 million worldwide, setting the stage for a new era of giant monster cinema.
