Goosebumps returns for a new season with a new cast.
Disney+ has recently announced the much-awaited second season of its hit anthology series Goosebumps. This new season promises to be a chilling adventure with a fresh cast and a new story. Ana Ortiz from Love, Victor joins the ensemble cast as Jen. She is a determined police detective with deep ties to her Brooklyn neighborhood, and a haunting past involving childhood friends. If you haven’t watched season 1 yet, I highly recommend that you catch up on it as soon as possible.
The Friends star David Schwimmer leads the pack.
Schwimmer plays a pivotal role alongside new regulars Sam McCarthy and Jayden Bartels, who portray fraternal twins Devin and Cece. Elijah Cooper, Galilea La Salvia, and Francesca Noel round out the cast as CJ, Frankie, and Alex, respectively. This new season of Goosebumps is produced by Sony Pictures Television in collaboration with Disney Branded Television. It promises a brand-new tale based on R.L. Stine’s iconic book series, which has captivated readers worldwide with over 400 million copies sold in 32 languages.
In season two, viewers will follow Devin and Cece’s gripping story as they navigate life post-divorce with their father, Anthony. But when they stumble upon a looming threat, they’re thrust into a web of dark secrets dating back to a mysterious disappearance in 1994.
