Yu-Gi-Oh! Creator Kazuki Takahashi Has Passed Away

Kazuki Takahashi the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! passed away at age 60.

Kazuki Takahashi was best known as the Japanese manga artist and game creator for Yu-Gi-Oh! His first piece of work, “Tokiō no taka “was first published in 1990. Unfortunately, he passed away just at the age of 60 on Wednesday, July 6thm due to a snorkeling incident. He was apparently on a snorkeling trip near southern Okinawa Island. The authorities are still investigating the case as both a possible accident or crime. The Yu Manga series was published between 1996 and 2004. In 1999 it became a trading card game, and the anime made its debut in 2000, spawning a giant media franchise.
