Lance Reddick Legacy Luminary Award Recipients Announced

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will receive the inaugural Lance Reddick Legacy Luminary Award.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are the recipients of the first-ever Lance Reddick Legacy Luminary Award. This prestigious award is a highlight of the Annual Nerdtropolis Movie Awards. It is given to individuals who embody the exceptional enthusiasm and work ethic that characterized the late Lance Reddick’s illustrious career. Reddick was an actor whom I had the pleasure of interviewing in person for the first time while covering John Wick: Chapter 4.

Despite my initial nervousness, his kindness, humbleness, and enthusiasm for his work made me feel at ease. I informed him that he was my first in-person interview, and he laughed heartily, setting the tone for our conversation. During the interview, we discussed his character, Charon, in John Wick, his roles in Resident Evil and Percy Jackson, and even nerded out together about Batman.

Nerdtropolis has carefully considered and reviewed many interviews over the past year.

We came to the decision to select Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah for the Lance Reddick Legacy Luminary Award. The directors were chosen for their outstanding contributions to filmmaking, passion for the medium, and embodiment of the qualities the award seeks to celebrate. The Lance Reddick Legacy Luminary Award was created as a tribute to the late actor. He was the first in-person interview for Nerdtropolis. This award is particularly meaningful as it has Lance’s wife’s full support and blessing, making it a significant tribute to his legacy.
