The beloved spoof franchise, Naked Gun, makes a triumphant return with outrageous comedy and additional bonus content.
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that The Naked Gun, the latest installment in the classic spoof franchise, will be available to purchase or rent digitally beginning September 2, 2025. Read My Movie Review.
Neeson Leads the Laughs
Action star Liam Neeson takes center stage as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., following in his father’s footsteps to lead the Police Squad. The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live). I called Neeson’s performance a “comedic revelation.”
Joining Neeson are Pamela Anderson as femme fatale Beth Davenport, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Liza Koshy, and Danny Huston. Produced by Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy) through Fuzzy Door, the comedy marks a return to the franchise’s signature blend of absurdity and relentless gags.
Packed With Bonus Content
Fans who purchase the film on Digital will also receive over an hour of extras, including:
- Featurettes such as A Legacy of Laughter, Son of a (Naked) Gun, and The Funny Femme Fatale
- Deleted and extended scenes, including alternate openings, cut boardroom sequences, and an extended finale under the arena
- Outtakes, highlighting the cast’s difficulty in keeping a straight face
- Mock ads, like the spoof products Gorilla Nut and Muscle Slime
Following its Digital release, The Naked Gun will also be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting November 11, 2025.
