The first teaser brings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the Hunters of Artemis, the Olympian gods and iconic moments from The Titan’s Curse to life.

The Titan’s Curse is about to be unleashed on Disney+ very soon, but Percy Jackson fans have received a taste of what’s to come ahead. Disney’s D23 Expo gave fans their first full teaser trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, which releases this November.

Series stars Walker Scobell, Ming-Na Wen, and Andra Day took to the D23 stage to introduce the teaser alongside a group of the Hunters of Artemis. The official teaser trailer reveals much of what Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 has to offer, which includes some iconic scenes from Rick Riordan’s third book.

The teaser trailer for Percy Jackson Season 3 sees some memorable moments from “The Titan’s Curse” coming to life. Some of these moments include the arrivals of Nico di Angelo and his sister, Bianca, the Manticore fight that opens the book, and the Junkyard of the Gods. Additionally, Hoover Dam is also featured, which may be introducing another iconic character from the books: Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

One character whose casting is yet to be disclosed is Hercules, who was also confirmed to be appearing in Season 3 during San Diego Comic Con. However, fans got to see a good look at some other characters and creatures, including the Hunters of Artemis, the Ophiotaurus, the Nemean Lion and the Talos prototype. All of these characters play important roles in “The Titan’s Curse”, but fans will have to wait to see how they are adapted.

Furthermore, the teaser also sees the Olympian gods fully gathered, including Zeus, Poseidon, and Hera. Previously, series star Lin-Manuel Miranda spoke on this specific moment in an exclusive interview and how fun it was to get all the Olympians gathered in one place.

Percy Jackson Season 3 Is a Personal Hunt For Lost Allies

Percy Jackson Season 3 will be adapting “The Titan’s Curse”, which had yet to see a live-action adaptation until very recently. This season will see Percy on a quest to rescue Annabeth from Atlas, who is using her to hold up the sky. Furthermore, the Great Prophecy still lingers overhead and with Thalia Grace’s return, the realization of this prophecy may either raise Olympus or destroy it. It’s a race against Kronos as Percy, Thalia, Grover, and their newfound allies rush to save Annabeth.

In addition to Scobell, the main cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 includes Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos.

Disney+’s Percy Jackson was created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. The series is executive produced by Steinberg, Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein, alongside Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, The Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell, Bert Salke, James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Sarah Watson and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson.

Additionally, Jet Wilkinson serves as an executive producer on the last two episodes of the season. Wilkinson previously served as an executive producer and director on Season 1 on episodes 5, 6, and 8.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 begins streaming on November 20 on Disney+.
