‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ brings a new twist to the classic game show.

“Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” takes the beloved format of the classic game show and adds a fun, new twist. NFL star Travis Kelce hosts the show. An adult contestant tests their knowledge with the help of celebrities from comedy, screen, and sports. The goal? Answer 11 questions on various subjects drawn from elementary school curriculum to win a grand prize of $100,000.
Unlike the original show, where contestants competed against children, this version allows contestants to enlist the help of the celebrity classmates, who range from comedians to athletes. The classroom features stars like Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer, and Ron Funches. Sports personalities Ryan Fitzpatrick and Chad Ochocinco also join in, packing the class with diverse talent. Reality TV stars Garcelle Beauvais and Lala Kent, along with Sophia Stallone and Lilly Singh, also add their flair to the mix.
Contestants don’t face off against the celebrities.
Instead, they rely on their “classmates” to assist them in answering the questions. Each episode features opportunities for contestants to “cheat” by consulting the celebrity panel. The final question, worth the full $100,000, is always at a sixth-grade level. Contestants get to pick one celebrity to discuss the answer with before making their final decision.
During a recent interview, I put Natasha Leggero and Ron Funches to the test with a surprise pop quiz. They were delighted to showcase their knowledge (and humor), bringing plenty of laughs. In another segment, I quizzed Sophia Stallone and Nicole Byer, who brought their own unique charm to the experience. Check out the video embedded below to see how they fared.
Kelce, known for his quick wit and charismatic presence, keeps the atmosphere lighthearted and engaging, making the show a fun watch for viewers of all ages. “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” is now streaming on Prime Video. With a mix of humor, nostalgia, and celebrity fun, it’s a fresh take on a fan-favorite format that promises to entertain.
