Star Trek: Lower Decks final season to premiere on October 24 on Paramount+.

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the fifth and final season of its animated comedy series, Star Trek: Lower Decks. The season will premiere with two episodes on Thursday, October 24, in the U.S. and internationally. New episodes from the 10-episode season will be released every Thursday, culminating in the series finale on Thursday, December 19.

In the final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks, the U.S.S. Cerritos crew is tasked with repairing “space potholes,” or subspace rifts, which have been disrupting the Alpha Quadrant. Junior officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford find the job complicated by an Orion war, enraged Klingons, diplomatic blunders, murder mysteries, and their career ambitions. As they inch closer to promotion, they may leave behind the “lower decks” for new and unfamiliar roles in Starfleet. Watch the trailer below!
The series is known for its humorous portrayal of life aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s less significant ships.
Star Trek: Lower Decks’ main characters’ voices include Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, and Eugene Cordero. The bridge crew’s voices include Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore, and Gillian Vigman.
The Star Trek franchise on Paramount+ also includes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and upcoming projects. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which recently began production, and Star Trek: Section 31, starring Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, are coming soon. Additionally, the platform streams all seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, starring Sonequa Martin-Green, and Star Trek: Picard, featuring Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard.
Star Trek: Lower Decks streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America.
