Apple TV’s young mystery-solving duo is back for another case that will lead them to their parents! Today, Apple TV released the official trailer for The Sisters Grimm Season 2. The six-episode sophomore season begins streaming on Friday, October 2.
The Sisters Grimm makes its grand return following Season 1’s success, which earned a 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. Although they’re very different from the Brothers Grimm, the iconic pair from literature, these two siblings know how to solve a mystery. This time, The Sisters Grimm Season 2 will see them travelling down a different road.
In The Sisters Grimm Season 2, one year after the first season, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries. However, the mystery seem to intertwine with their middle school experience.
The cast returning this season includes Ariel Winter (Modern Family, Sofia the First), Leah Newman, Laraine Newman (Saturday Night Live), Abubakar Salim (Raised by Wolves), Billy Harris (Ted Lasso), and Harry Trevaldwyn (How to Train Your Dragon).
Star vs. the Forces of Evil‘s Amy Higgins serves as showrunner alongside Sofia the First‘s Erica Rothschild and Titmouse Animation, who produce the series. Executive producers include Higgins, Buckley (Robotomy), Elliot Blake (Tomb Raider: Re\Visioned), Philip Alberstat (The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie), Steven Amato (27 Mins) and Theresa Park (Roar, Expats).
Titmouse’s Chris Prynoski (The Legend of Vox Machina), Shannon Prynoski (Scavengers Reign), Ben Kalina (Big Mouth) and Antonio Canobbio (Digman) also executive produce. Sage Cotugno serves as supervising director.
The Sisters Grimm Season 2 begins streaming on October 2 on Apple TV.
