THE TERMINAL LIST Season Two Sends Chris Pratt Global in First Teaser

Chris Pratt returns as James Reece for a globe-trotting mission that expands THE TERMINAL LIST into an international espionage thriller

Prime Video has revealed the first teaser trailer for THE TERMINAL LIST Season Two, giving fans their first look at Chris Pratt’s return as Navy SEAL Commander James Reece.

After the revenge-driven events of the first season, the action-thriller series is expanding its scope considerably. Season Two adapts TRUE BELIEVER, the second novel in Jack Carr’s bestselling James Reece series, and transforms Reece’s next mission into an international espionage thriller.

All eight episodes of the new season will premiere Wednesday, October 21, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Chris Pratt Returns as James Reece in THE TERMINAL LIST Season Two

THE TERMINAL LIST follows James Reece, played by Chris Pratt, as the former Navy SEAL finds himself battling conspiracies and powerful forces operating far beyond the battlefield.

Season One focused heavily on Reece’s personal mission for revenge after the deaths of his family and members of his SEAL team. With that list completed, Season Two finds the character searching for a new purpose while being pulled into another dangerous conspiracy.

The new story takes its inspiration from Carr’s TRUE BELIEVER, which follows Reece on a journey of violent redemption.

Rather than repeating the psychological revenge-thriller structure of the first season, the series is opening up Reece’s world. His mission will take him across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe as he uncovers a conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley.

Making matters even more personal, the conspiracy will connect to Reece’s own family history.

THE TERMINAL LIST Season Two Brings Back Familiar Faces

Chris Pratt will be joined by several returning cast members from the world of THE TERMINAL LIST.

Tom Hopper returns as Raife Hastings, while Constance Wu reprises her role as journalist Katie Buranek. Dar Salim is back as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth returns as Jules Landry.

Season Two also introduces THE LAST OF US and TERMINATOR: DARK FATE star Gabriel Luna as Freddy Strain.

The expanded international cast includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb and Shiraz Tzarfati, among others.

The larger ensemble reflects the increased scale of the new season as Reece moves beyond the United States and becomes involved in a conspiracy with international consequences.

Military Authenticity Remains Central to the Series

Despite the much larger scope, the creative team behind THE TERMINAL LIST is continuing its focus on military authenticity.

Executive producer and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and executive producer and former Army Ranger Max Adams oversee the show’s action and authenticity efforts. Military veterans are also involved throughout the production as writers, actors, technical advisors and directors.

Among them is former Navy SEAL Ray Mendoza, who co-directed the war film WARFARE with Alex Garland.

That involvement is intended to maintain the series’ emphasis on the mindset, brotherhood and moral complexities surrounding Special Operations while pushing the action into a much broader espionage story.

THE TERMINAL LIST Franchise Continues to Expand

The return of James Reece comes as THE TERMINAL LIST develops into a larger franchise for Prime Video.

According to Prime Video, the franchise has accumulated more than 100 million viewers worldwide to date.

Chris Pratt serves as an executive producer alongside Antoine Fuqua, showrunner David DiGilio and author Jack Carr. Pratt and Fuqua previously worked together on THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, while Fuqua also directed the first episode of THE TERMINAL LIST.

Season Two now has the opportunity to significantly expand what audiences have seen from the franchise by trading Reece’s tightly focused revenge mission for an international conspiracy that reaches across multiple continents.

With TRUE BELIEVER providing the foundation, James Reece is heading back into the fight, only this time the battlefield is much bigger.

THE TERMINAL LIST Season Two stars Chris Pratt, Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth, Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb and Shiraz Tzarfati.

All eight episodes premiere October 21, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
