The General is heading back to Tulsa. Paramount+ has announced that Tulsa King Season 4 will premiere Friday, October 16, with Sylvester Stallone returning as New York mobster turned Oklahoma kingpin Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
The new season will put everything Dwight has built on the line. After establishing an empire far from his New York roots, Dwight now faces the difficult task of making his operation legitimate while protecting the people who have become his new family.
However, Tulsa is about to become more dangerous than ever.
What Happens in Tulsa King Season 4?
Season 4 finds Dwight fighting to legitimize his growing empire while corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a devastating personal loss attack him from several directions.
Every victory also forces Dwight to confront harder questions about loyalty, leadership, and the true cost of his ambition.
The increased pressure begins pulling Dwight back toward the street instincts he developed during his years in New York. As the situation escalates, Tulsa becomes a battleground, and Dwight increasingly becomes the one person his enemies cannot afford to underestimate.
The storyline represents another evolution for Stallone’s character, who began the series as a longtime New York mafia capo released from prison after serving 25 years. After being sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dwight quickly began assembling his own crew and building an organization far outside the traditional mob world he once knew.
Now, the empire he fought to create could also become the thing that pulls him back into his old ways.
Who Is Returning for Tulsa King Season 4?
Stallone once again leads a large returning ensemble.
Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak and Neal McDonough will return.
Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany are also back for the fourth season.
The new season will welcome another major addition to the cast, with Gretchen Mol joining Tulsa King as a series regular.
The expanded lineup gives Dwight no shortage of allies, rivals and wild cards as his attempt to maintain control of Tulsa becomes increasingly complicated.
Terence Winter Leads Tulsa King Season 4
Terence Winter serves as head writer and executive producer for Season 4.
Winter is joined by executive producers Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly and Keith Cox.
The series continues to bring together Stallone and Sheridan for a crime drama that combines traditional gangster storytelling with a fish-out-of-water premise built around Dwight attempting to create a new criminal empire hundreds of miles away from the New York underworld.
With political corruption, new enemies, and personal tragedy coming for Dwight, Season 4 appears ready to test just how far the General will go to hold onto everything he has created.
