The film delves into the world of storm chasing.

It stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell. “Twisters” follows Kate Cooper, played by Edgar-Jones. She is a former storm-chaser haunted by a traumatic encounter with a tornado during her college years. Despite the fear that grips her, she finds herself drawn back to the heart of the storm. She teams up with her friend Javi, portrayed by Anthony Ramos, to test a revolutionary new tracking system.

Kate is on a mission in “Twisters.” It is a story set against the backdrop of central Oklahoma as she investigates unprecedented storm phenomena. She meets Tyler Owens, played by the charismatic Glen Powell, a social media sensation who captures the most dangerous storms on camera. Kate and Tyler’s conflicting approaches to confronting nature’s fury create a life-or-death struggle against the elements. As multiple storm systems converge, Kate and Tyler’s rival teams race against time to unravel the mysteries of the storms before it’s too late.
