First Look at Selena Gomez’s return with new and familiar faces.
The magic is back. Disney Channel has unveiled the official trailer for Season 2 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the continuation of the Emmy Award-winning Wizards of Waverly Place. The highly anticipated sophomore season premieres Sept. 12 on Disney Channel and Oct. 8 on Disney+.
In the trailer, fans get a glimpse of the spellbinding new adventures awaiting the Russo family. Expect a mix of humor, heart, and a dash of danger, along with appearances from executive producer Selena Gomez, who reprises her role as Alex Russo. The preview also teases guest stars Freya Skye (ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires), Bill Chott, Sean Whalen, and Amanda Tepe.
Season 2 Storyline
The new season follows Billie as she struggles with the complications of being part of the Russo family. Life becomes even more challenging when Roman and Milo discover their own magical powers, leaving Justin with the daunting task of training three young wizards for the Family Wizard Competition.
As the competition heats up, a mysterious threat looms over the family, one that could unravel the Russos forever.
Premiere Details
The new season launches with two episodes on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and Disney Channel On Demand. The full season will then be available to stream on Disney+ beginning Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the U.S. and select international markets.
