Stephen King, Luke Combs, Dylan Sprouse, Megan Stalter, Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are heading to Big City.

Disney is bringing an impressive group of guest stars to Big City Greens for its fifth season. Stephen King, Luke Combs, Dylan Sprouse, Megan Stalter, Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Smith, and Jason Mewes will all lend their voices to the Emmy Award-winning animated comedy.
The hit series returns Friday, August 21, with its first five Season 5 episodes premiering at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel. Those episodes will begin streaming the following day on Disney+. Additional episodes will arrive throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.
Stephen King And More Stars Visit Big City
The guest list pulls talent from movies, television, music, podcasts, and the world of horror. King will appear in a Halloween-themed episode, making the legendary author a perfect addition to the show’s seasonal celebration. Stalter will headline a separate winter-themed installment.
Country music star Luke Combs is also joining the series alongside The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actor Dylan Sprouse and One Tree Hill favorite Chad Michael Murray. Longtime creative partners Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will bring another recognizable duo to Big City during the new season.
The newly announced lineup also includes Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Cobie Smulders and Clark Gregg. Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend personalities Matt Gourley, Sona Movsesian, and Aaron Bleyaert will appear as well.
Other Season 5 guests include Martha Kelly of Euphoria, Steve Schirripa of The Sopranos, and Mike Colter of Marvel’s Luke Cage.
Familiar Big City Greens Voices Will Return
Several established guest characters will return for Season 5. Danny Trejo is back as Vasquez, Alfred Molina returns as Cogburn, and Jameela Jamil will once again voice Phoenix. Colin Hanks also reprises his role as Mark, while Dan Stevens returns as Saxon.
The regular cast continues to be led by series co-creator Chris Houghton as Cricket Green. Marieve Herington voices Tilly Green, Bob Joles plays Bill Green, and Artemis Pebdani stars as Gramma Alice.
Wendi McLendon-Covey returns as Nancy Green, with Zeno Robinson as Remy and Anna Akana as Gloria.
Big City Greens Continues Its Major Disney Run
Big City Greens follows Cricket, a mischievous and endlessly optimistic 10-year-old country boy who moves to the big city with his family. His curiosity regularly sends him, Tilly, Bill, and Gramma Alice into unexpected situations as they adjust to their surroundings and connect with their neighbors.
Season 5 will raise the stakes by sending the Green family and their friends on some of their biggest adventures yet.
Who Created Big City Greens?
Chris and Shane Houghton created Big City Greens and serve as executive producers. Anna O’Brian, who directed Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation, has been promoted to executive producer beginning with Season 5.
Stephen Sandoval of The Owl House serves as co-executive producer, while The Muppets veteran Michael Coughlin is the producer. Disney Television Animation, part of Disney Kids & Family, produces the series.

The first four seasons of Big City Greens and Big City Greens the Movie: Spacecation are currently available to stream on Disney+.
