Creatures Commandos will mark the first title kicking off the new DC Universe.
Excitement buzzed through the “Jim Lee & Friends” panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Fans were treated to an exclusive first look at the upcoming Max Original adult animated series, “CREATURE COMMANDOS.” The series, produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, is set to debut this December on Max. It marks the first title to kick off the new DC Universe. Jim Lee, President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, hosted the panel. He surprised attendees with a special greeting from filmmaker and DC Studios Co-Chair and CEO James Gunn. Gunn, who has a pivotal role in shaping the new DCU, wanted fans to be the first in the world to see the official teaser for the highly anticipated seven-episode series. Watch below!
“CREATURE COMMANDOS” promises a thrilling adventure, tracking a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. The logline teases, “When all else fails…they’re your last, worst option,” setting the stage for a high-stakes, action-packed narrative.
