Disney brings back fan-favorite Elves for a new Prep & Landing holiday special.
Unwrap the ultimate holiday event this season with the return of Disney’s mischievous and beloved elves in Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol. The brand-new animated Christmas special debuts Thanksgiving Day, November 27, at 7 p.m. EST/PST on Disney Channel. It will be available to stream the next day on Disney+.
Later this season, the elves’ latest adventure will also air on ABC before joining Freeform’s annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming event.
The Franchise Returns After More Than a Decade
Marking the franchise’s first new installment in over ten years, The Snowball Protocol continues the story of elite North Pole agents Wayne and Lanny. Their mission to prep homes for Santa’s arrival takes a disastrous turn when Wayne fears he’s landed himself on the naughty list.
Meanwhile, Magee, the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator, shows up with her new pet seal pup Nog—whose chaotic antics spark a string of comedic hijinks.
Voice Cast Reunites with New Additions
The special reunites the original voice cast, including Dave Foley as Wayne, Sarah Chalke as Magee, and Derek Richardson as Lanny. They’re joined by new voices Manny Jacinto as Renato, the North Pole’s most in-demand massage therapist; Dulcé Sloan as Janice, a postal clerk; and Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff, master of the Fruitcake Factory. Christopher Swindle voices Santa, affectionately known as “The Big Guy.”
Where to Watch and What’s Next
Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton direct the special. Previous specials including Prep & Landing (2009), Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa (2010), and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice (2011) are available now on Disney+. To celebrate the new installment, Toddland will launch a limited-edition merchandise collection inspired by The Snowball Protocol.
With a mix of action, comedy, and holiday cheer, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol is shaping up to be Disney’s next must-watch family tradition.
