Noah Kahan headlines The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping album with his new original song “Draw You Out.”
The highly anticipated album for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping was announced. For fans of the books and the films, a popularly predicted name will be headlining the upcoming film’s album: Noah Kahan. The full album will release a week before the film on November 13.
Kahan, the Grammy-nominated, record-achieving artist, revealed the title his new single, “Draw You Out,” which will release on Friday, October 2. Inspired by Susan Collins’ original story and Francis Lawrence’s adaptation of it, the single joins a soundtrack loaded with previously unreleased music, exclusive to the album and specific to the film.
For the single, Kahan worked alongide Aaron Dessner, who co-wrote and co-produced the track at New York’s Long Pond Studio and Nashville’s Gold Pacific Studios and East Iris Studios. Notably, Dessner worked with pop culture superstar Taylor Swift on several of her albums, including 2020’s folklore and Evermore, 2022’s Midnights, and 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department.
Previously, Swift also wrote a single for the original Hunger Games film, “Safe & Sound,” which also featured musical duo, the Civil Wars. With Kahan now part of the film’s musical talent, he joins the roster of famous artists who’ve made their mark on The Hunger Games, including Olivia Rodrigo, Lorde, and Coldplay.
In addition, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) is executive produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, who previously worked with artists Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson, and brings together 29 cross-genre artists.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping sees a young Haymitch Abernathy joining the 50th Annual Hunger Games, which now has double the tributes. He makes shaky alliances with other tributes like Maysilee Donner and Wyatt Callow in attempt to challenge Snow’s presidency. Risking everything he has, his actions will forever change the course of Panem.
The cast for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping includes Joseph Zada, Mckenna Grace, Ralph Fiennes, Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.. Francis Lawrence also returns to direct the upcoming feature.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping premieres in theaters on November 20.
