Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park and more join Steven Spielberg spotlight collection.

Steven Spielberg’s most iconic films are coming together in one major home entertainment release this summer. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release Steven Spielberg: The Spotlight Collection on June 9. The limited edition set celebrates eight landmark films from one of Hollywood’s most influential directors.
The collection arrives as excitement builds around Spielberg’s upcoming summer movie event, Disclosure Day. It also gives movie lovers a chance to revisit the films that shaped blockbuster cinema. The set includes Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, and War of the Worlds.
Only 5,700 units are being made across the United States and Canada. That makes this one of the year’s biggest collector releases. The set comes in an 8-slot SteelBook library case. Each film also includes its own individual 4K SteelBook. Fans will also get more than 25 hours of bonus content across select titles.
A Collection That Defines Spielberg’s Legacy
Few directors have shaped modern cinema like Spielberg. His films have mixed spectacle, emotion, and technical brilliance for decades. This set captures that range in one package. It moves from creature horror to science fiction wonder. It also spans adventure, historical drama, and war epics.

Jaws changed the summer movie business forever. Close Encounters of the Third Kind brought awe and mystery to the sci-fi genre. Raiders of the Lost Ark delivered one of cinema’s greatest action heroes. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial remains one of Spielberg’s most heartfelt films. Meanwhile, Jurassic Park pushed visual effects into a new era. Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan proved Spielberg’s dramatic power. War of the Worlds showed he could still deliver large-scale terror in the modern era.
Bonus Features Add More Value
The set also packs in extensive bonus material for fans and collectors. Jaws includes “JAWS @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story.” Close Encounters of the Third Kind includes all three versions of the film. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial features anniversary retrospectives and a conversation with John Williams. Jurassic Park includes archival featurettes and behind-the-scenes material. The remaining titles also include documentaries, featurettes, trailers, and galleries.

For longtime film lovers, this release offers more than nostalgia. It presents Spielberg’s work as a living blueprint for blockbuster storytelling. For newer viewers, it is a strong reminder of why these films still matter.
