“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” Trailer Teases Fresh Spells and Old Faces

David Henrie and Selena Gomez return for “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.”

The official trailer for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is finally here. It offers fans a glimpse into the magical world of the highly anticipated series. The trailer showcases a mix of exciting spells, humorous antics, and familiar, relatable characters. Leading the cast are David Henrie, reprising his role as Justin Russo, and Janice LeAnn Brown, who plays wizard-in-training Billie. Selena Gomez, who serves as an executive producer, is set to guest star as Alex Russo in the series’ debut episode.

The new series follows an adult Justin Russo.

He lives a normal, non-magical life with his wife Giada and their two children, Roman and Milo. However, when his sister Alex seeks his help with a young wizard, Justin is thrust back into the magical world he thought he had left behind. As he attempts to mentor Billie, Justin finds himself balancing his ordinary family responsibilities with his renewed magical duties, all while safeguarding the future of the Wizard World. The cast also includes Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo. Gomez’s return as Alex Russo in the first episode has sparked excitement among longtime fans of the original Wizards of Waverly Place.

The series will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Disney Channel. Two episodes will kick off the return to the Russo family’s story. You can catch the first nine episodes on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand starting the following day, Oct. 30.

With nostalgia and new magical adventures, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place promises to bring new viewers and original fans back to Waverly Place.
