Netflix’s Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is now streaming. It brings the iconic adventurer back to life in an all-new animated series. The series continues the story from the critically acclaimed video game Survivor trilogy. This new chapter follows Lara Croft, voiced by Hayley Atwell. Croft is exploring dangerous new terrains, uncovering ancient mysteries and long-buried secrets. More than 25 years after her debut, the series honors the spirit of the character while pushing her in exciting new directions.

During a recent interview with, showrunner Tasha Huo shared insights into her deep-rooted love for the franchise, which began during her early gaming days. She explained why Hayley Atwell was the perfect fit for the role. Huo is also working on a Red Sonja movie. Watch below!

Set after the events of the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy, the series finds Lara on increasingly perilous solo adventures. However, her journey unexpectedly turns when a Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor. With a mysterious personal connection, the thief forces Lara to confront her past. The story propels her across the globe, diving deep into forgotten tombs, where she must decide the kind of hero she wants to become. A thrilling trailer has also been released, teasing the high-stakes adventure that awaits Lara fans.

The series also features the voice talents of Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon, reprising his role as Jonah from the video games. It is produced by Legendary Television and animated by Powerhouse Animation. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is an exciting new addition to the franchise and joins Terminator Zero as the newest anime on Netflix.
